Omar Ronda

Artist, painter, sculptor, and art collector. An art gallerist in the 1970s and 1980s, he also devoted himself to promoting original graphic art through the art magazine Spazio Alternativo. In 1990 he was among the founders of Arte Agravitazionale, a movement that, together with other artists, explored the phenomena of light. In 1993 he founded the Cracking Art movement in Biella, focusing on animals at risk of extinction and using regenerated colored plastic. In 2008 he began a personal journey and developed a new conception of art based on social engagement and the reuse of plastic materials. His work is characterized by an ironic, colorful, popular, and irreverent style.
