Georges Boisgontier

French sculptor of the 20th century, whose numerous travels in the Middle and Far East influenced the style of his works. His sculptures often feature references to ancient Greek mythology and Egyptian deities, evoking the daily order of the sacred. An expert in bronze patination, his works are admired for their remarkable polychromy.
