Carlos Musso
Montevideo, Uruguay 1954
Born in Uruguay, he studied drawing and painting with Blanca Durant and Miguel Angel Pareja. In 1985, he enrolled at the National School of Fine Arts of the University of the Republic and became a professor there in 1986. Since 1994, he has taught Visual Arts at the Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay. His work reflects the physical and moral suffering of human beings, such as victims of sexual violence, the sick, and the dying. He works with oil, acrylic, and vinyl on materials such as clay, wood, and bronze.
